Alanis Morissette

Alanis Nadine was born in Ottawa, Canada, on the 1st June, 1974. Alanis' Greek is a female form of the surname her father's name. Georgia is the name used by her mother. She has two brothers, Chad as well as Wade. In the age of 6, she learned how to play the piano. After that, she was 21 and she became a guitarist. In 1986, Alanis released a single titled Fate Stay With My (b-side: Find The Right Man). She was a dance-pop Canadian artist who recorded two albums: Alanis (1991), and the album Now Is The Time (1992). She relocated to Toronto when she was 18 and began working with music and writers, but the collaborations didn't work. In 1994, she finally came across the perfect collaborator: music producer and songwriter Glen Ballard, who had previously worked with a variety of artists, including Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson and Barbra Streisand. She then moved to LA at age 19. on June 13, 1995 "Jagged Little Pill" was made available via Madonna's Maverick Records. Alanis found a way of making songs that are autobiographical and extremely personal. JLP has sold about 30 million copies across the world, turning into the most popular female album and 3rd most popular album the past. The singer was in a state of emotionally tense time (she thought about not recording another record) and travelled in India. Alanis Alanis Alanis
