Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an incredibly popular American performer and actress. She was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. She is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. She is of Polish (mother's) and German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen found her talent in entertainment from a young stage of her life. She was able to land her first role at her audition in Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell was accepted by her mother to become an agent when she was thirteen years old. Bell was later cast for newspaper ads and commercials on TV. In addition, Bell started taking private acting classes. Bell had a small uncredited role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she participated in the music and drama clubs. When her school staged a stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was chosen to play Dorothy. After graduation Bell relocated to New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in which she studied musical theater. Bell was a graduate in 2001, resigned her university studies to perform her role as Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 that Bell's first appearance in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part is cut off and the credits are all that depict her. Bell appeared together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
